Battery Centre and Motolek Dundee form part of Farmtrac Auto Centre

In 2005, Oscar and Richard decided to open Battery Centre and an Auto Electrical Centre which are divisions of Farmtrac Dundee. Both Battery Centre and the Auto Electrical Centre have grown immensely over the years with a total number of 13 employees.  

Here customers can get supplies for, or can bring their vehicles in for, repairs of starters, alternators or auto electrical spares. Farmtrac Auto Electrical Centre also has an automotive diagnostic tool, a tool which helps the Auto Electricians pinpoint the vehicle’s problem and freeze-frame live timing by performing a scan of the various areas of the customer’s vehicle. This is more time efficient and cost effective for the customers. Unfortunately this can only be used in the newer vehicle models which have a computer system.

In 2008 Battery centre received the BATTERY CENTRE OF THE YEAR Trophy.

In the year 2010, Farmtrac Battery Centre acquired the Motolek Franchise; selling brands such as Bosch, Hella, New Era, RCP.INC and ZEN.
